 | Nobile Kiteboarding 666 BoardsThe 666 range represents the highest level of performance kiteboard from Nobile. These boards are designed to be pushed to their limits by riders of all levels from intermediate to Pro. Fast planning, incredible upwind performance, maximum grip and extreme POP are all characteristics of this range and are apparent in all water conditions from absolute glass through to vicious chop.
For 2007 we have introduced to the range our Hydrodynamic Rocker Line and a new three-step deck mould. The Hydrodynamic rocker gives the board an unparalleled drag free feeling performing in light winds and strong with the only limit to your speed and moves being you. The new rocker line has also allowed us to reduce the amount of spray caused by the board and increase it’s ease of use allowing you to access it’s potential effortlessly. Still present are our innovative tip rocker profilers designed to further eliminate spray from your eyes in choppy riding conditions.
2007 sees the expansion of the 666 line to incorporate a new size of 135 x 44. Without the benefits of the Hydrodynamic rocker this size board would be relegated to light wind use only but now for the first time it’s possible to have a wide board that has plenty of control in high winds and more POP than you’ll know what to do with. When testing these boards I suggest you try at least one size bigger than you’d normally ride as the benefits of a larger board are well balanced with the outstanding control the 2007 666 range displays.
Rocker
Our revolutionary Hydrodynamic rocker line is featured on the 666 and 666 EXT boards for 2007. The benefits of this rocker line in early planing, maximum speed, upwind ability, control and POP can be easily experienced and will be most appreciated by the rider looking for the maximum freestyle performance available from a twin tip today.
3-D Top Mould
The 666 top mould has been completely re-designed for this year. Last years principles of extreme flex in the fin area for huge control and a stiffer tail centre section for more POP has been developed and combined with the progressive flex steps first seen on last years Shinn and EXT models. The end result is even more control when powered up and extreme amounts of POP. The 2007 666 really does offer a one board for all conditions solution.
Nobile Essentials Triangle
The Nobile essentials Triangle represents the key technology principles used in the 2007 666 range. In 2005 Nobile introduced the Elliptical Progressive Concave (EPC) combining the advantages of a flat and a concave board. Last year we added to this Complete Anti Vibration Technology (CAV) to provide smoother more controllable boards. For 2007 we have continued this development with our revolutionary Hydrodynamic rocker line. Only by combining these features have we been able to achieve both the ease of use and outstanding performance of the new 666.
Performance Optimized Flex Pattern
The flex pattern of this board has been tuned to give the ultimate in performance. Early planning, extreme upwind pointing angles and higher board speed are all aimed for the more progressive and demanding rider. Whilst not having quite the same forgiving feeling as the Nobile 555 range the increased performance will reward the more demanding rider
Enhanced Anti Vibration Construction
With our unique honeycomb stringer we can reduce the amount of vibration in the board to add control and comfort through choppy water and waves. The stringer also has the added advantage of increasing the POP of the board when jumping due to it’s faster response time.
Complete Anti Vibration
Using a combination of wood, honeycomb, PVC foam, rubber, carbon and Kevlar the 666 range has the lowest vibration properties of any board currently in the market. Reducing vibration has a tried and tested effect on the ride characteristics of the board ensuring exceptional grip and ride quality through any and all water conditions.
